- Pinetree is a new medical treatment/accomodation centre designed to care for 28 individuals with special needs. It proved to be a particular challenge for our innovative team as the centre was also required to be a medium security facility.
- Emphasis was placed on the safety of both patients and staff, with a need for an inconspicuous security and access restriction system which allowed the safe monitoring of patients at all time.
- The solution included nurse call systems linked to digital radio paging systems, and access control to all external and many internal doors. With all doors linked and interfaced with CCTV systems.
- The facility is also fitted with an integrated fire alarm system and external perimeter CCTV recording and control at the centre facilities reception.
- The main entrance has automatic vehicle and pedestrian access control via proximity access and electric operated gates.
- The contract was completed to the client's satisfaction and the company has now been awarded the annual quick response maintenance contract for the facility including all the specialist electronic systems that were installed.
